01

Baseline Studies

Representative cases

Field work at El Doradillo protected area, Chubut.

Chubut · 2007–2008

Biodiversity and carrying-capacity study.

Carried out under an Institutional Strengthening programme (IDB 1588/OC-AR) to assess the tourism carrying capacity of the protected area. Survey of micro- and macro-mammals, bats and birds.

Proyecto Navidad — advanced exploration site at Gastre, Chubut.

Gastre, Chubut · 2016–2021

Navidad — Advanced Mining Exploration & Pre-feasibility Project.

Vegetation studies, carbon balance assessment under FAO methodology, vegetation baseline for associated infrastructure (high-voltage line and fibre optic, El Escorial – Gastre – Puerto Madryn). Closure-cost evaluation using native seeds for environmental remediation. Remediation work.

Sensitivity analysis and risk mapping — Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego.

Santa Cruz–Tierra del Fuego · 2022–2023

Sensitivity analysis and locational risk mapping.

Sensitivity analysis of flying fauna and risk maps for future wind developments, combining field data, airspace-use modelling and geospatial traceability. The site’s risk-assessment methodology and scope were defined together with the client.

02

Operational Monitoring

Active portfolio

Parque Eólico Aluar, Chubut.

Chubut · Baseline and monitoring since 2014

Parque Eólico Aluar.

Baseline, three construction phases and operational monitoring. A complete historical series to assess changes, trends and environmental performance across the full project life cycle.

Wind farm — representative landscape of the portfolio.

Five provinces · operational monitoring · since 2014

Ten wind farms.

Community monitoring, bats, fatality analysis, carcass-persistence and searcher-efficiency trials, PBR and trend analysis.

Parque Solar Anchoris, Mendoza.

Cuyo · solar · 2025

Solar farms.

Biodiversity monitoring, halo-effect analysis and risk assessment of evacuation lines. Bat studies, fatalities and PBR.

03

Environmental Management & Restoration

Representative cases

Almirante Storni Pier — Puerto Madryn, southern right whale management.

Puerto Madryn, Chubut · 2007–2014

Almirante Storni Pier.

Mitigation of collision risk between vessels and southern right whales in Golfo Nuevo. Baseline studies and management proposals designed for an operational site of high conservation value. We designed and operated RaspiWhale, a device awarded by Innovar, that traceably records the microscale movements of individuals and their response to navigation. A pioneering case linking the public and private sectors around a shared management object.

Natural scenarios under tourism and recreational use — Península Valdés.

Protected areas, Argentina

Environmental Scenarios Monitoring System (SIMONE).

A model for monitoring and communicating the environmental and social state of natural scenarios with tourism and recreational use. Integrates three international frameworks —ROS (Resource Opportunity Spectrum), LAC (Limit of Acceptable Change) and TOMM (Tourism Optimization Management Model)— adapted to the Argentine context and its mixed State–private management schemes. Applicable to National Parks, reserves and protected areas whose natural and cultural values are considered priorities for conservation.

Proyecto Navidad — ecological restoration in the Patagonian steppe.

Gastre, Chubut

Proyecto Navidad.

Environmental management plan and ecological restoration at a mining project, with biological traceability from the seed: reference herbarium and germplasm bank of site-native flora, continuous monitoring of vegetation dynamics, and audit of the operator’s management measures to align earthworks and landscape modelling with the ecological triggers of restoration. A local genetic base adapted to the extreme conditions of the Patagonian steppe.

Biodiversity & Sustainable Finance

Transversal capability

We structure field data from monitored wind farms and mining projects, and from baseline studies, against the disclosure frameworks: GRI 101, TNFD (LEAP approach, site by site), ESRS, IFRS S (ISSB) and MSA. We advise operators and mining companies on assembling disclosure that satisfies boards, banks, auditors and investors — grounded in robust scientific data and auditable databases.

Frameworks applied

  • GRI 101
  • TNFD (LEAP)
  • ESRS
  • IFRS S (ISSB)
  • MSA
